Targets
Targets (as agreed by the partnership board March 2008)
  • Engage Cluster staff in accredited training, appropriate to their role and ensure all are trained to a minimum standard
  • Provide advice and guidance to school staff around appropriate referrals to parenting and pupil support
  • Support 750 primary students (250 per year) over the course of the next 3 years
  • Engage 90 school staff (30 per year) in training opportunities in order to enable schools to offer similar courses
  • Provide holiday activities for 630 students (210 per year) i.e 30 students per learning mentor
  • Provide 14 term time parenting courses (STOP, Incredible Years, Stress and Relaxation and Triple P) per year for parents/carers
  • Provide 1 to 1 parenting support to 150 referred parents and carers (50 per year)
  • Develop courses during 2009-2010 to enable the co-targeting of parents and students by 2010-2011
  • Reduce the number of reported behavioural incidents and exclusions of those students attending the courses
  • Impact on engagement of students involved in the courses through an improvement in school attendance, where this is identified as a concern
  • Impact on parent's ability to engage with learning - both their own and their children's - through a variety of measures including attendance at informal/formal school consultations
