Targets

As agreed by the Partnership Board March 2008

  • No schools under the national floor target of 30% 5A* - C (incl.English and Maths) by 2011
  • No schools in an Ofsted category by 2011
  • All schools to receive contextualised data analysis updated annually with prompts for reflection
  • Engage with the learning of 1500 (500 per year) young people over the course of the life of the cluster, i.e. 5% of the school population
  • For level 2 at KS1, results to match or exceed the national rate of improvement over the 3 year life of the cluster
  • For level 4 at KS2, results to match or exceed the national rate of improvement over the 3 year life of the cluster
  • For level 5 at KS3, results to match or exceed the national rate of improvement over the 3 year life of the cluster
  • For the key stage 4, 1 A* - G at GCSE (or equivalent) indicator, the ExC results are to match or exceed the national figure by 2011
  • To match or exceed the national rate of improvement for 5+ GCSE, or equivalent, grades A* - G over the 3 year life of the cluster
  • To exceed the national rate of improvement for 5+ GCSE, or equivalent, grades at A* - C including English and Maths, over the life of the cluster
  • Establish baseline figures at KS2 and KS4 for FSM and non FSM attainment gaps. To close the gap at a rate that matches or exceeds the national rate.
  • Develop a collaborative working network across all schools and phases to improve learning and teaching
  • Schools with identified needs are supported in ways which complement the work of the CSA's SIS (rank 2 and 3 support)
  • To ensure additionality and complementarity to the CSA's SIS and other partners
  • To co-ordinate the implementation of local and national best practice in transitions within and across all key stages
